How Jorrii Spark Uses AI

Jorrii Spark uses artificial intelligence technologies from multiple trusted providers to power creative tools for kids. This page explains how AI works in our platform, what it can and can't do, and what parents should know.

โš ๏ธ Important: AI Can Make Mistakes

AI-generated content is created by machine learning models, not humans. While these tools are powerful and fun, they are not perfect. AI can produce content that is inaccurate, unexpected, or inconsistent. Generated images, videos, and audio should be treated as creative outputs, not factual representations.

We strongly encourage parents to review AI-generated content with their children and use it as an opportunity to discuss how AI works.

AI Providers

Jorrii Spark integrates AI models from the following providers:

  • OpenAI โ€” GPT Image, GPT Image Mini, OpenAI TTS (text-to-speech)
  • Google โ€” Imagen 3, Veo 2, Veo 3, Google TTS
  • ElevenLabs โ€” Voice generation (v2/v3), sound effects
  • Kling AI โ€” Video generation (Kling 1.6, Kling 2.0)
  • Black Forest Labs โ€” Flux 1 image generation
  • Ideogram โ€” Ideogram v2 image generation
  • Recraft โ€” Recraft v3 image generation
  • Runway โ€” Runway Gen-3 video generation
  • MiniMax / Hailuo โ€” Video generation
  • Meta โ€” MusicGen music generation
  • Suno / Udio โ€” Music generation
  • Stability AI โ€” Stable Audio (SFX and music)

๐Ÿ” These companies do not endorse Jorrii Spark

The AI providers listed above supply the underlying models that power our creative tools. They do not create, review, moderate, or endorse any content generated on Jorrii Spark. All content moderation and safety filtering is handled by Jorrii Spark independently.

Content Safety

We implement multiple layers of content safety to protect young users:

  • Prompt filtering to block inappropriate language before it reaches AI models
  • Output review to catch potentially harmful generated content
  • Age-appropriate model configurations and parameters
  • Curated style presets designed specifically for children
  • Parent dashboard with full visibility into all generated content

Despite these safeguards, no filtering system is 100% effective. We encourage parents to stay engaged with their child's creative activities.

AI Limitations

Parents and kids should understand these limitations of AI-generated content:

  • Accuracy: AI does not understand facts. Generated images may depict things inaccurately (wrong number of fingers, misspelled text, impossible physics).
  • Consistency: The same prompt may produce different results each time. AI output is non-deterministic.
  • Bias: AI models are trained on internet data and may reflect cultural biases present in that data.
  • Originality: AI generates new content based on patterns learned from existing data. Outputs may sometimes resemble existing works.
  • Voices: AI-generated voices are synthetic. Character presets (Robot, Pirate, etc.) are fictional and not based on real people.
  • Music: AI-generated music may sometimes sound similar to existing songs. It should not be used as a substitute for licensed music.

Data Sent to AI Providers

When your child generates content, the following data is sent to AI providers:

  • The text prompt describing what to create
  • Selected options (style, aspect ratio, duration, model)
  • Reference images (if uploaded for image-to-image or image-to-video)

We do not send personal information (names, PINs, account details) to AI providers. Prompts are transmitted securely over encrypted connections.

Our Commitment

Jorrii Spark is built for kids, and protecting their privacy is our top priority. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable privacy laws. We never sell data. We never show ads. We collect only what we need to make the Service work.

Information We Collect

Parent Accounts

  • Email address โ€” for account creation, login, and important communications
  • Name โ€” display name from Google OAuth or as provided
  • Profile photo โ€” from Google OAuth (if available)
  • Subscription data โ€” plan type, billing cycle, payment status

Kid Accounts

  • Display name โ€” chosen by the parent, used only within the platform
  • 4-digit PIN โ€” for kid login, stored securely
  • Avatar selection โ€” a number representing which character icon was chosen

๐Ÿ‘ถ What We Do NOT Collect from Kids

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, birthdays, photos, location data, or any other personally identifiable information from children. Kids never interact with third-party services directly.

Usage Data

  • Generation logs โ€” type, model, prompt text, timestamp of each creation
  • Daily usage counts โ€” to enforce plan limits
  • Gallery items โ€” saved creations (file URLs, titles, metadata)

Technical Data

  • Browser type and version โ€” for compatibility
  • Session data โ€” temporary authentication tokens

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Session data is stored in the browser and cleared when the session ends.

How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate parent and kid accounts
  • To process AI generation requests
  • To enforce daily usage limits per subscription plan
  • To save and display created content in the gallery
  • To provide parents with dashboard oversight of their children's activity
  • To communicate important service updates via email

How We Store & Protect Data

  • Authentication: Powered by Supabase with encrypted credentials and PKCE flow
  • Database: Supabase PostgreSQL with Row Level Security โ€” parents can only access their own data
  • Generated files: Stored on AWS S3 with CloudFront CDN delivery over HTTPS
  • API communication: All requests encrypted via TLS/SSL
  • PINs: Stored in the database โ€” we recommend parents choose unique PINs

Third-Party Services

Jorrii Spark uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase โ€” Authentication, database, and user management
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services) โ€” API processing, file storage, content delivery
  • Google Cloud โ€” OAuth authentication provider
  • AI Model Providers โ€” As listed in our AI Disclosure (OpenAI, Google, ElevenLabs, etc.)
  • Hostinger โ€” Static website hosting

We do not share personal data with these providers beyond what is necessary to deliver the Service. AI providers receive only prompt data, not personal information.

Data Sharing

We Do NOT:

Sell personal information to anyone, ever. Share data with advertisers. Allow third-party tracking. Use data for behavioral profiling. Share kid data with AI model providers.

We may share limited data only in these circumstances:

  • When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • To protect the safety of our users or the public
  • With your explicit consent

Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

  • Review all data associated with your account and your children's accounts
  • Delete your child's account, creations, and associated data at any time from the parent dashboard
  • Revoke consent by deleting your account, which removes all associated kid accounts and data
  • Request a copy of your data by contacting us
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications

Data Retention

  • Account data is retained as long as the account is active
  • When a parent deletes a kid account, all associated data (gallery items, usage logs, generation history) is permanently deleted
  • When a parent deletes their own account, all kid accounts and data under it are permanently deleted
  • Generated files on AWS S3 are deleted within 30 days of account deletion

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Jorrii Spark is designed to comply with COPPA:

  • We obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any information related to a child
  • We collect only the minimum information necessary (display name and PIN)
  • Children cannot share personal information through the platform
  • Parents have full control over their children's accounts and data
  • We do not condition a child's participation on providing unnecessary personal information

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify parents via the dashboard or email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
